Andrew studied at the º£½ÇÂÒÂ×¹Ù·½ with Alison Kay, Simon Holt, and Jonathan Cole as a Noël Coward Composition Scholar.

Previously a Royal Philharmonic Society Composer, Andrew has collaborated with Wu Wei, Explore Ensemble (UK), The Hermes Experiment (UK), Laefer Quartet (UK), Ensemble Offspring (AUS) and the National Children's Orchestras of Great Britain. In 2022, he had a set of commissions premiered at Cheltenham Music Festival.

Andrew also maintains a varied performance practice as a jazz pianist. He won the 2021 Dankworth Award for Jazz Composition, and regularly performs in solo and ensemble settings, including performances at the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican and Band on the Wall.

Andrew is a passionate advocate for all forms of new music. He is a Producer and Curator at ScoreFollower, the world’s most widely distributed free-to-access online platform for works by living composers, which focuses on widening access. He is also a member of The Ivors Academy's Classical Council and cross-genre Youth Council, and was an inaugural ABRSM Composer Mentee.
