Ravel鈥檚 exquisite Introduction and Allegro sounds almost orchestral in its spacious sonorities 鈥� and Felix Mendelssohn took a similar approach when he declared that his Octet, composed when he was only 16, 鈥檓ust be played by all the instruments in symphonic orchestral style鈥�.
